Ok so I want to become a realtor or real estate agent etc you get my point I want to be able to sell houses! So I have a question, I've seen many websites for online schools and classroom courses etc. Now thee is a community college in my state that offers some real estate courses. After finishing two classes I can get my real estate CERTIFICATE now for this there is only a 12 credit requirement. Now the other courses are for an AAS in business for real estate this requires a total of 62 credits. Now here is my question what is the difference between a real estate CERTIFICATE and a real estate LICENSE? Which one will I be able to sell houses with?

I live in canada And i want to become a real estate agent in America. Also what are the requirements of becoming one?

I like the idea of Real Estate.

I would like to know how many years of schooling you might need. And is there a lot of mathmatics required?

Because, I suck at math hardcore.

If you can help me out, that'd be great.

Thank you! :)

Im a teenager that is trying ti think if things to be when she graduates high school soon, and i want to kw what kind of classes you have to take and things like that, also any additional requirements and how much do you make??

Can anyone give me a more detailed description than the ones I've been getting?

How do I know a realtor or a real estate agent specializes in this category? Do I have to literally call up each and every one of them and ask?

I have a couple of homes that I have on mind but their current status is "preforeclosure." I know this makes things iffy because there is the possiblity they can fix the matter on their own and it would not necessarily become a foreclosed home.

Are all of them auctioned off? How can I become alerted of such events? At the auction, do I have to have all the money at hand? (In a bank account, cash, etc) Can I not get a loan to purchase a foreclosed home?

I happened to have no current job but just inherited a decent sum of money. Does this automatically count me out? Are there any requirements they place?

I live in the Orange County area in CA.

I'm 15, and lately I've really been thinking about what I might want to be when I get older. I've thought maybe a lawyer, but I don't have a lot of patience that would be needed for court, and reading about the laws and such. Recently my dad and I were looking at houses, and we were talking about how being a realtor could be a really good job. I figure it's a good job, and the hours may change all the time, but your pay is dependent on the house, and almost completely up to you. So what kind of schooling or requirements would you need. How old do you need to be, do you need to have your grade twelve? Any information would be great, I think I would really enjoy a job in real estate.

I'm seriously thinking in become an Real Estate Agent, I am currently living in Columbus Ohio, I have already found some classes, but some of the requirements says that " i must be sponsored by an Ohio Real Estate Broker" what that really means ???

I have managed my own properties but I understand I need a Real Estate Brokers license to manage for other people. Are there other requirements (ie - must work as a real estate agent for several years etc.)? Also, does anyone with experience have any management software advice? I am familiar with Yardi but it seems to be geared more toward large apt. complex application. I want to start in small 1-4 family properties.

I want to know the education requirements, and just basically the step to becoming a realtor.

I would like to take the steps to become a leasing agent for an apartment complex. Anytime I look for apartments the women in the office are super nice and they seem to enjoy their jobs. I don't know I think it would be a good step in the right direction for me. Do they need a real estate license? or something else?
The requirements for nevada.

Athome Consulting Group Inc. based at San Jose, CA is one of the major contributors in the worst real estate and economic meltdown in the history of the United States of America. This company promoted the ARM (Adjustable Rate Mortgage) which starts with a very low teaser rate. ACG will teach & train their agents to recruit potential real estate agants. Once you joined the company, the requirement is to refinance your home first. Whoever is your recruiter gets a share of the comission and so with the direct Marketing Director, all the way to the President of the company who is Edwin Natividad. You, who just got recruited and refinanced your home with the ARM program is now stucked with the low teaser rate for the next year or 3 years whichever comes first. Then, they will teach you to re-invest that equity money you just received to buy a new home or homes with zeroor little money down, apply for a loan through the ARM program again, wile they get all the rebates and commissions. Their strategy is for you to go out and recruit also to become a Managing Director in order to enjoy the benefits of getting overrides from all these commissions. These were during the good times when the real estate market was really hot. It made the NATIVIDAD clan (Edwin, Jeffrey, John) and all their cousins Charlie ABAYAN, so filthy rich they were sporting their top of the line Mercedez Benz, Ferrari, BMWs, and brag about their multiple million dollar homes during their annual conventions and seminars. During the early 2007, the real estate market was starting to slow down because the ARM loans are slwly maturing from the ones that refinanced or bought properties with the ARM program in 2003, 2004, and 2005s. Tragically, no one could stop it anymore because the in the middle of 2007 up to now, the real estate market tumbled and most of those who used the ARM program foreclosed their homes because they owe more than the value of their homes. This is a tragedy for most of the innocent "wanna be" real estate agents who got sucked in by the some licensed "blood suckers" like Edwin Natividad and his ACG Empire. They are one of the major contributors of this recession that everyone, including me and my family is now suffering. Its a very hard lesson to swallow considering so many people across the nation lost their homes, broken families, some even committed suicide! All these human suffering because of one CLEVER MAN, EDWIN NATIVIDAD, who rose from rags (brags about planting tomatoes and camote leaves in their backyard for their food) to being FILTHY RICH in a span of 4 years, by capitalizing on the ARM program through his ACG empire!!!

I would like to know which state has easy requirements to become real estate agent and broker. are there any states that doesn't require 1 year agent experience to become broker or something like that.

I'm in college majoring in advertising (i would like to become a graphic designer or an art director someday), even though i love it i've heard that it's a lot of hard work and long hours, and pay is not too great in the beginning plus there is a lot of competition. I have also considered becoming a real estate agent...my question is how long does it take to get a certificate to work in real estate? do i have to go to a 4yr university(quit advertising and go for real estate)? what are the best jobs in real estate. i know brokers make good money but what are the requirements?
basically i want to know if i can still do what i do (major in advertising) and if i change my mind down the road if it would be easy to get into real estate.
And lastly, what would you recommend me to do, real estate or advertising? which has a better future? I seem to like both pretty equally but decided to major in advertising since it takes more time...

thanks
