why was cataclysm announced so early

(1) Given that Blizzard has already announced Cataclysm at Blizzcon 2009 it makes no sense that that they will wait for yet another Blizzcon to go by before the release. In fact, it makes no sense for them to announce the new release and then .... Early 2010 is *way* too early. Judging by the looks of Cataclysm at Blizzcon it has certainly had plenty of time in development (i.e. since before Wrath). However, so many of their 'big ideas' (guild talents, revamped Old World, ...I'm going to go with late September - early October 2010. Reason why? They'll announce the release date at next years Blizzcon, and be pimping Cataclysm at all the trade shows next summer. So it will be the big push. ...Teh Cataclysm! So yeah, we're a little bit early; in-game, we still haven't defeated Arthas, but as some of you know, our heroes have. So the only natural direction to follow is ... well, The Cataclysm. ...I'm not so much into Cataclysm being the "last" expansion, if it is true, I am very much interested with the "new" format of content updates (and how they're going to make money out of it). And to think, it would have exploded ... And I don 't see why the talk about mounts would be relevant info about this. The goal for end game guilds isn't to get the mounts. It's to clear the hardest content as early as possible world/continent/realm-wise. The mounts are just a bonus. ...In all, there will be 8 new 5 man instances added to the game in Cataclysm along with two revamps of old 5 man instances in the form of Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep. The raid content has not all be announced yet, beyond what you just read above, ... As you can see, some of the content is being added to existing dungeons with Blackrock Caverns being a new wing in the old instance and the last two being 80 man versions of the same content from early in the game. ...Blizzard are slow, really slow, and always take longer with than anything than we expect so I see no reason not to be pessimistic about the chances of an early or mid 2010 release. So what are your guesses for the Cataclysm ... October 15, 2009 at 10:15 pm. I agree. Considering that D3 has been delayed until 2011 - and how polished it currently looks and how long ago it was announced - there's absolutely no reason to not think that Cataclysm will be the end of 2010. ...It's up to him now. You hear me ? Come on, snap out of it! Don't go into the light!a? The early signs are very encouraging for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. Tune in for more details as the release date is yet to be announced. ...Too early, you say? Never! It's never to early to start making plans. With 3.3 and Icecrown and Arthas coming up, our hands will already be full, so getting a head start n preparing for Cataclysm won't be a bad idea. ...Easy Glyph has tipped his hand far too early in the game. He is using four or five, that's right four or five alt's to post his glyphs. Now either I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out all of this or Glyph has made it very easy for me ... He has conveniently named them Glyph1, Glyph2, Glyph3, Glyph4 and so on. Now for the sake of organization I am assuming he/she is using each mule to post two classes. Clever little guy isn't he? Here is the problem as I see it. ...
